Sunderland vs Liverpool
Stadium of Light — Sunderland

Luis Suárez's first Premier League game since his biting ban; Simon Mignolet's return to Wearside; Sunderland caretaker manager Kevin Ball's big audition for the vacancy as Paolo Di Canio's successor. There are sub-plots galore but do not be surprised if Lee Cattermole attempts to provoke Suárez as the home side – without their key striker, Steven Fletcher – seek to improve on a woeful tally of one point in five games. They could probably do without Mignolet reminding them of his goalkeeping brilliance.
